CAN WE STOP DEMONISING CARBS PLEASE

These days carbs get such a bad rep, often portrayed as the reason people are overweight. To put it bluntly, this simply isn't true! Carbs should 100% be part of a healthy, balanced diet. They're an important source of fuel for both body and brain, as well as providing fibre, helping your digestive system stay healthy (and regular, you know what I'm saying...).

Yes some carbs are nutritionally superior to others, which is a good idea to be mindful of, but cutting out all carbs...an entire food group...is quite simply a pretty bad idea. If you're goal is to lose fat, take a look at your overall diet, portion control, and how much you move...don't be sucked into banning all carbs for quick (entirely unsustainable) results. CARBS FOR LIFE! Now I'm off to make a sandwich :)
